Behind Sweet Symphony Cakes
I’m Felipe, the founder and cake artist behind Sweet Symphony Cakes. My love of baking began in Colombia, helping my mother in the kitchen. At ten years old, I surprised her with the first cake I made on my own for Women’s Day. That early experience grew alongside my lifelong interest in art, entrepreneurship, photography, fashion, museums, music, and food.
I approach each creation as an opportunity to connect design with a story or message. I am especially drawn to making sugar flowers. As I become absorbed in the tools, colors, and delicate details, my breathing changes and the rest of the world seems to quiet. Through my work, I hope clients feel connected, inspired, and thoughtfully represented.
